These are granulated fertilizers with a prolonged effect (from 4 to 6 weeks). Unlike liquid fertilizers, scattering fertilizers last longer because the ingredients in the granules bind to the sorption complex of the substrate and are not washed away into the soil too quickly. Arborvitae and cypress fertilizer is mineral, granular fertilizer. The ingredients contained in it are very well taken and absorbed by the plant. The composition of the fertilizer is appropriately selected for the needs of plants. Ensures proper growth and condition of plants and adequate health. The content of nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus covers the plant’s demand for nutrients.
Arborvitaes and cypress are plants with a very shallow root system. The root block constructed in this way has limited access to water as well as nutrients. Due to the specific construction, they require systematic watering and fertilization. In the spring, when the vegetation is launched, the arborvitaes fertilizer will provide the plants with optimal nutrition thanks to the optimal nitrogen content. The macronutrients ensure an intensive growth of green matter. Properly nourished arborvitae grow quickly, thanks to which we will get a lush and compact hedge. Potassium plays the most important role in nourishing the arborvitae. Arborvitae fertilizer has an increased dose of this ingredient. Potassium is responsible for the water management in the plant. Thanks to it, plants are better able to withstand temporary water shortages.. Additionally, the fertilizer guarantees intensive dyeing of needles, scales and shoots, taking care of the attractive appearance of trees and shrubs.
Use from March to August, every 60 days. Autumn fertilizer should be used from September. Measure out the right amount of fertilizer, depending on the plant being grown:
Spread the fertilizer evenly around the plant and mix as much as possible with the top layer of soil. After applying the fertilizer, plant the plant with plenty of water.
One handful is about 30 – 40 g of fertilizer.
