Hantus is a preparation for painting tree trunks and shoots in the autumn and winter. Hantus provides double plant protection. Protects against propagation of tree trunks, as well as against biting by wild animals. Hantus does not require dissolving in water. It is a ready-to-use product.
Hantus has a white color, which effectively reflects solar radiation. As a result, tree trunks do not heat up, which prevents them from thawing during winter dormancy. Hantus effectively protects trees against frost damage, cracks and frosting. The product also discourages wild animals from biting bark and wood. The unnatural color of the preparation means that wild animals do not show interest in painted plants. The preparation can also be used in the cultivation of young conifers, which allows its use in the cultivation of ornamental plants and in forest nurseries.
The preparation should be used in the winter season (from November to April), when the plants are in winter dormancy. Shake the bottle vigorously before use. Use at temperatures above 0˚C. Do not use the product during rainfall. After drying, the preparation lasts up to 3 months.
Method one - manually
Put on rubber gloves. Pour a small amount of the product onto your hand. Spread the product on the shoot from the bottom up the plant, so as not to damage the buds.
Second method - using a brush
Soak the brush in the preparation. Spread with a brush on the surface of stumps and shoots. When using the preparation in coniferous crops, the preparation covers only this year's growth.
