Hortifoska fertilizer for blueberries and other acidophilic plants is a granulated mineral fertilizer. Intended for fertilizing blueberries (American) and all other acidophilic plants such as cranberries, rhododendrons, azaleas, heaths, hydrangeas and some conifers. Hortifoska blueberry fertilizer has acidifying properties. Lowering and stabilizing the acidic pH of the medium contributes to the normal growth and development of blueberries and other acidophilic plants. Properly selected composition and specificity of the fertilizer affect high fertility, proper flowering and fruiting of fertilized plants.
The special form of nitrogen has an acidifying effect on the substrate, so it provides ideal conditions for development, as well as nutrient uptake by acidophilic plants.
Use between March and mid June, every 4 weeks (1 month). The dose of fertilizer depends on the age of plants:
Young plants – use 20 g per 1 m2
Older plants – use 30-40 g per 1 m2
Spread the fertilizer around the plants and mix slightly with the ground, and after watering generously with water.
