HORTIFOSKA MULTI-COMPONENT LAWN FERTILIZER

Hortifoska super multi-component lawn fertilizer is a granular mineral fertilizer. It’s intended for fertilization of all types of grasses: lawn, recrectional, sports and ornamental.

The components like nitrogen, magnesium and iron affects on juicy, green color of grass. Nitrogen is the main building block of proteins, which make up most of the living organisms, thanks to it the grass intensively spreads and quickly regenerates after mowing. Regularly fertilized, even a neglected lawn, quickly regains its condition and healthy appearance. Properly nourished grasses with phosphorus and potassium better tolerate adverse environmental conditions (drought, flooding, low temperatures), and are more resistant to diseases. The fertilizer can also be used when setting up a lawn, providing an ideal starting dose for young plants.

Application method

The fertilizer should be use from March till the end of August every 3-4 weeks. Use following doses:

• during setting up the lawn – apply a dose of 20-30 g of fertilizer for every 1 m² of soil. Spread the fertilizer evenly over the surface where the lawn will be installed, then rake / mix it with the top layer of soil. After mixing the fertilizer with the soil, sow grass seeds and water abundantly
• regular seasonal fertilization – apply 40-80 g of fertilizer for every 1 m² of lawn. Spread the fertilizer evenly over the lawn surface, and then water the lawn generously with water. Regular watering increases the efficiency of the use of fertilizer ingredients by plants. Avoid spreading fertilizer on wet plants. It is best to fertilize the lawn 2-3 days after mowing, because then the fertilizer granules will penetrate the soil faster.
