Mineral gel azalea & rhododendron fertilizer is a liquid mineral fertilizer in the form of a gel, for dissolution in water. Designed for feeding rhododendrons and azaleas and other plants from the heather family. The fertilizer for azaleas and rhododendrons intensifies the setting of magnificent flower buds and extends the flowering period.
The fertilizer contains optimal doses of macro- and micronutrients adapted to the needs of heather plants. The main distinguishing feature of fertilizer is the ability to maintain the correct acid reaction of the substrate, which is very important in the cultivation of heather plants. It is only in this reaction that azaleas, rhododendrons and other ericaceous plants are able to take all the constituents from the soil. Rhododendrons and azaleas often suffer from diseases caused by a deficiency of nutrients, which are manifested by various discolorations and spots on the leaves, and sometimes even the lack of flowering. Nitrogen and microelement – iron are ingredients of the fertilizer that we will easily supplement. Their deficiency is confirmed by interbred yellow leaf discoloration. Brown spots on the leaves are a deficiency of boron which also replenishes the fertilizer for azaleas and rhododendrons. Potassium provides the leaves with proper firmness due to proper water management in the plant’s tissues, but also prolongs the flowering period.
The packaging contains a transparent cap for precise and convenient metering of the fertilizer dose. The cap indicates three levels of dosage, depending on the amount of water we use for watering:
The fertilizer should be used during the intensive and flowering period, as well as in the period preceding the flowering, the plants should be fertilized once a week. During the remaining growing season, the plants should be fertilized once every 2 weeks. Do not exceed the recommended doses, as this could damage or destroy the plants.
