Orchid fertilizer is a liquid mineral product. Multi-nutrient fertilizer is intended for fertilization of all varieties of orchids, for example: Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium, Dendrobium, Cattleya and many others. Fertilizer can be used both during flowering and in periods between flowerings. Systematic use ensures proper growth, frequent and long-lasting flowering as well as high disease resistance. Mineral fertilizers have immediately available form which is easily absorbed for plants.

Fertilizer For My Orchids has a balanced composition of macro- and micronutrients adapted to the needs of orchids. Nitrogen affects the intense green coloration of the leaves, because it is the main component of chlorophyll – the green dye. This dye is also found in the roots of some orchid species, e.g. Phalaenopsis, which determines the green color of fleshy roots. For specific orchid roots to be firm and healthy, orchids also require some phosphorus. This element will stimulate the plant to bind more roots, which will enable the plant to better absorb water and nutrients. A properly rolled root system will provide the orchid with a solid foundation to invest in the further development of flowers and new leaves. The role of micronutrients contained in the fertilizer For My Orchids is very important. The substrate for orchids, which usually consists of bark, is not able to store nutrients, which is why it is so important to systematically supply them to plants by fertilizing. Properly nourished orchids produce multiflora inflorescences that retain their vitality for a very long time.

Application method

The cap serves as a dispenser for measuring the dose of fertilizer. The fertilizer should be diluted in a water, in proportion: 15 ml (half of a cap) of fertilizer in 2-3 l of water. Water the plants using prepared solution. During growing season, in a period of intensive growth, plants should be fertilized once a week. In the rest of growing season (from November to February), plants should be fertilized 1 time per 2 weeks. This allows to adapt for plant’s life cycle and allows plants for autumn-winter rest.

We use fertilizer during watering, by:

  • traditional watering with a watering can with a solution of fertilizer with water, an orchid in a special pot with a raised bottom,
  • dipping plants in a bowl with a fertilizer solution with water during watering.
