For making seedlings, it is best to use this year’s shoots, about the thickness of a pencil. Seedings cut to a length of about 15-20 cm, depending on the location of the nodes (places from which the leaves grew). We cut the shoots in such a way that there are two knots on it. Cut the top of the shoot at a right angle, while the bottom at a slant. Seedlings prepared in this way are planted at 2/3 of their depth in a mixture of half and half universal soil and coarse sand.
